Here I am on May Day bank holiday 2012 enjoying a beer in the Plaza Flores in Estepona. The sun is shining, blue sky and a very relaxing atmosphere. The Plaza Flores is located just behind the main street and approx 50m from the beach. It is a pleaseant tranquil pedestrianised location. There are several bars and restaurants, however most seem to have taken the May Day as an opportunity to close. We sat at the Meson Cordobes and paid 3 Euros for a beer and coke. The plate of olives comes complimentary on the house but you must remember to ask. This is customary with most bars in Spain.
