The annual “Full moon” fiesta that take place in either July or August each year on the beach in Sabinillas has been recognised by the Malaga Tourism board as a fiesta or particular tourist interest.
In fairness, the event does attract over 3000 people and is fast becoming just as popular as the San Juan festival held in June.
The good thing about the full moon fiesta is its chilled out atmosphere…. it’s not a raving party like San Juan but much more relaxed and family friendly….although, as with any Spanish fiesta, it goes on very late!!
Let’s hope that the 2015 event is even better….
