Every year on 15th August (which also happens to be a national holiday), Manilva celebrates the Diá de Turista (Tourist Day). It is a day for of entertainment and events dedicated to the tourists that visit our area at this time of year.
The days events will take place in plaza Vicente Espinel in Sabinillas (the square behind the taxi rank)
There will be live music, dancing, exhibitions, children’s shows and a host of other activities throughout the day, going on into the evening. The day starts at 12.00 noon.

Como informaba el edil de Turismo, Emilio López, es imprescindible para una localidad como Manilva, mimar a su turismo y ofrecerle nuestra mejor cara y un programa de actividades para el disfrute de todos los que nos visitan durante la época estival.
López quiso animar a todas las personas a disfrutar desde las doce del mediodía del amplio programa que desde el área que dirige se ha preparado para el divertimento de vecinos y visitantes.
Música, baile, exhibiciones y sinfín de actividades se darán cita en esta emblemática plaza en la que no decaerá la fiesta a lo largo de todo el día. Así lo ha puesto de manifiesto la directora de área de esta concejalía, Pepi Valenzuela, que durante estos días se encarga de cerrar el programa previsto.
