The delegation of Commerce for Manilva has announced that there will be a Christmas market (Well it is only 7 weeks away!!) to be held in plaza Vicente Espinel (Behind the taxi rank).
The market will take place over the following weekends:-
From 5th to 8th December
From 19th to 22nd December
From 2nd to 5th January. (Remember Spanish officially give presents on 6th January)
The market will focus on and encourage local merchants – anyone can have a stall, providing what they sell fits in with the Christmas theme, for example, plants, handmade gifts, nativity figures, decorations….well you get the idea!!
Also, not forgetting “food” related items such as turron, roasted chesnuts, jamon, cakes, sweets and churros…
The fiestas department will also be collaborating by providing, entertainment, attractiuons and activities for the children
Anyone wishing to participate in the market should contact the commerce department at the Edificio de Usos Múltiples in Sabinillas or call 952 89 35 07. Final date for registration is 20th November.
