Mumbai Palace Indian Restaurant Sabinillas

In my opinion, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.  We came down to Sabinillas a few weeks ago to watch the horse show and decided to eat out. “Family vote” bought indian out as top choice so we all headed to the Mumbai Palace.  We normally go on their “buffet night” but it was just normal menu on this particular night. The staff are really attentive and friendly and always remember us (and, to be honest, we don’t go too often). The menu is varied, offering a wide range of meat, fish and vegetarian options.

We were served popadoms and dips (free) whilst making our selection from the menu. There were 5 of us so we opted for a curry each, 3 rice, 3 naan bread a portion of saag aloo.  The meal was served quickly and efficiently with hotplates on the table keeping everything warm.  We all came away completely full and satisfied. I always thought that the Buffet menu was such a good deal (all you can eat for 11.95) but, to be honest , we had all chosen what we wanted, were all satisfied and the bill worked out to about €15 per head which included 2 drinks each – about the same price we would have paid for the buffet.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d still go to the Buffet night but don’t hold out for these night… the normal menu is just as good value and the food delicious as always.
